I want to start this off by saying, this isn't my typical blog post. I also just realized, it's been forever since I've posted here. A lot has happened since October. We're still in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic, and many of us, are ready to just get on with our lives.
I will admit, the idea of Coronavirus, scares me. I have a lung disease, and my husband has heart issues. While he has been working from home, I'm still going out to my office and interacting with the public on a daily basis. The thought that I could bring this virus home, to either of us, is just plain scary.
I've been trying to keep myself occupied, but there is only so much you can do from home. I'm ready to go into a store and go shopping again!!!! Us shopaholics are going mad. Although I will admit, I have done a great deal of online shopping (God bless my mail carriers).
Some states have completely opened back up, while my state is doing it in steps. Right now my county, is in the yellow phase, which means we have to follow aggressive mitigation. How is it in your state or county?
Putting that aside, and trying not to worry so much, is easier said than done. I haven't seen my family in months, and I'm going through withdrawls. We have a family vacation planned for next month, and so much is uncertain at this point. While we are renting a house, we're still bringing 5 different families (from 5 different places together), and you don't know if they secretly have the virus and are bringing it with them. It's still kind of scary to think about.

Please stay safe, and stay healthy. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Our country as a whole, is in our thoughts and prayers. Let's hope that we're out of this soon, and can hug our loved ones again.
